SIVA North Divisionals

Congrats to the OSU Cowgirls volleyball club team who won their pool at the divisional tournament at TCU and automatically qualified for the SIVA conference tournament! The girls finished 5-1 in pool play, sweeping Texas Tech (25-18, 25-19, 25-18) and revenging their previous loss to TCU-A (11-25, 25-21, 25-18).

Going into bracket play as the #4 seed, they were once again matched up with TCU-A (5 seed). Knowing they would come out strong playing on their home court, the girls knew they were in for a challenge. The teams battled back and forth to 18-18 in the first game before TCU served their way to victory. OSU seemed to have gotten a bit of a kick to the stomach which they could never fully recover from. Kelva led the Cowgirl attack with 22 kills followed by Kara with 20. Karis provided an overall performance highlighted by 10 blocks and 16 kills and receiving nearly 1/3 of the other team's serves. Emily T. dished out a season high 72 assists along with 5 service aces. Also contributing to the team's success over the weekend were Mindy (12 kills), London (9 kills), and Emily P. at libero. The team also enjoyed having their supportive fans to cheer them on!
